Trying to get his books noticed in the publishing world is no easy task since squirrels are never going to be "the in thing" until they become "the in thing". He self published his first book detailing his adventures from Battery Park to Union Square, with the second novel (from Union Square to Central Park) ready and waiting. A third story where he heads out west is also in the pipeline.
In order to increase awareness of the Manhattan squirrel, to raise funds to help his author carry on trying to get his squirrel noticed and so you can show your friends you are a squirrel pioneer we are proud to officially launch:

There are two levels of SquirrelSquad membership: Ordinary member and Gold member.
The cost to join up is $9.95 (via pay pal) this money will be used to cover costs and hopefully put a little aside to fund the squirrels search for a publisher.

Ordinary members will receive a numbered membership card with protective plastic case, a certificate of membership and (via email) the soon to be launched Kalandaka monthly newsletter detailing squirrel goings on in Manhattan and around the world.
Gold members receive all of the above PLUS the first two chapters of Kalandaka's second novel (via email) and two special limited edition Kalandaka postcards. Gold membership is for life.
